Most round log and log siding manufactures have different profiles. We’ve cut profiles from 6” to 22” and anything between even using fractions in order to achieve a snug fit. They look best when installed in the center of the log or siding, however, we can offset the cut for electrical boxes installed above or below center. To ensure accuracy, simply trace the profile and mark the location of the center of the electrical box. Keep in mind, our cut will be as accurate as your drawing. Fax machines tend to reduce drawings enough to cause an imperfect fit so it’s best to mail drawings to us. If you prefer, you can send a slice of the actual log or siding (2” mim.) or contact us.
